The project developer, the Kanawha-Charleston Soccer Foundation (KCSF), has completed six fields, including an artificial turf field as well as a concession/restroom building at a total project cost of $3.6 million. The turf field includes lights, electronic scoreboard, state of the art sound system and bleachers.

The KCSF is a private nonprofit 501 (c) 3 charitable organization whose mission is to increase the quantity and quality of soccer facilities in the greater Charleston area.

It is governed by a board of directors representing various soccer clubs in the Kanawha Valley as well as high school programs and the state soccer association.
